    Writing is always an adventure. I have been a full time writer for almost 40 years and published over 90 books with over 5 million sold. Please join my mailing list on the right to stay up to date and sail along with me! 

    I love to write mysteries --I love when my characters have adventures.....and I love to have adventures myself writing with children.  Yes, I'm proud of my book, but I am also so proud of the books and stories that children write themselves.

    Authors at the Bronx New Schoo The SS. What's Going On is written by 5th graders at the Bronx New School.  I love to help children and adults write their own adventures. I think it’s the most exciting way for my readers and I to work together.  Also checkout Behind the Book, a wonderful program that brings authors to schools in New York City.   The fifth graders of P.S. 185 and I wrote
